A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Jamie! I’ve been a babysitter for 11 years, caring for several different families. I also worked as a camp counselor at a day camp for three summers, where I oversaw a group of about 25 seven-year-old girls. Following that, I spent two summers at a sleep away camp, first as an Assistant Unit Director for the youngest girls and later as the Arts and Crafts Director.

I love working with children! During college, I nannied in Bend, OR, for two summers. One summer, I cared for a 4-6-month-old girl, and the other, I looked after a 2-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy. I kept them busy with trips to the park, swimming, and fun art projects.

I graduated in June 2023 with a double major in Art and Education. Last year, I worked as a K-6 art teacher at a charter school in Chicago.

I loved when I was a mothers helper and I would get individual time with one of the three boys. When this would happen I would go on a walk with them in their pushable blue car. I would push it really fast so they could chase the bunnies we would see in the park.
