I have had the opportunity to work with children with special needs, and I truly loved the experience. One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child overcome their fear of trying new things. They were initially hesitant about participating in outdoor activities, but with gentle encouragement and making it fun, they slowly began to explore and enjoy new experiences. I remember the joy on their face the first time they confidently rode their bike without training wheels , it was such a proud and heartwarming moment for both of us. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I played a part in that milestone was incredibly fulfilling and reminded me why I love working with children. Moments like these, where I can support a child’s growth and celebrate their achievements, are what make being a nanny so special to me.
