I am a RN with current clearances for adult and childcare, FBI fingerprinted, Criminal Background checks, CPR qualified. I have taken care of numerous children from others' families, as well as 6 siblings over my life for more than 20 years. I taught bible school/ nursery school at churches, as well as caregiving to anyone at church. I did volunteer painting classes to age 6-Kindergarden, and loved it!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
infant/toddler-play, naps, meal prep/bottles, music, reading, development of fine and gross motor skills, getting outdoors for exercise, teaching about wildlife and nature.
K-6- schoolwork completed and checked for accuracy, after school snacks, meal preps, teaching of manners, instilling self-confidence, establishing healthy boundaries, introducing him/her and encouraging interests in the fine art/music/theater as well as dance/sports activities as applicable. Teaching how to assist with basic household tasks, reading and books, pet care, cleaning up room. Open to community gatherings/nature walks/church or synagogue attendances if asked, promotion of regular exercise outdoors. Discouraging screen time in place of development of social and developmental values.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Passing on parts of my talents and skills to children and young adults and keeping up the wishes and dreams of the parents while they are gone at work. Making life so much easier for others who are struggling to work and fear their kids would be missing out on life skills not taught anymore. Bringing out the best in shy girls and boys who need someone to talk to and who will actively listen to their dreams, fears, questions.
My experience with special needs children...
ADHD.
scgool aged children and young adults on the Autism spectrum
I will support ILPs of children with learning disabilities

The most important part about being a nanny...
Teaching 13 kids from church how to paint on a canvas "The Burning Bush". This was a sold piece of work that they all created and just watching the joy of their parents and themselves in their accomplishment.
