My experience with special needs children...

I worked with this kind 13 year old Ronald. Ronald was diagnosed with down’s syndrome. It is often scary for people who have never dealt with children that need extra care and attention but for me working with Ronald was a beautiful learning experience. I learned more from him than he did from me it feels like. He didn’t want a babysitter at 13, and would often tell me. I didn’t let this affect me staying and engaging with him and eventually he was excited to see me.
