A little bit about me

My name is Jasmine Williams & I am 30 years old. I absolutely adore children & having the opportunity to experience & learn about motherhood is a pleasure. At 12 years old I started babysitting for family & friends. Later I became an assistant teacher at a daycare for ages 6 weeks to 14 months for two years. Upon being at the daycare, I was asked by a family from the center to leave the daycare & become their full-time nanny for their girls ages one years old and 3 1/2 years old. I accepted the offer & became their nanny for 6 years. Some fun facts about myself include my favorite color being purple, my favorite movie is Annie, and I absolutely adore Childrens animated movies, like Bee Movie. I have 3 sisters, 1 older & 2 younger & 2 dogs. A white Bichon Frisée & a Merle Great Dane. I love caring for kids, but I also do light cleaning, laundry for Children, errands like grocery & pick ups & drop offs. To me being a nanny is a little bit of parenting, teaching and bestfriend combined:)

I was an assistant Teacher for ages 6 weeks to 14 months at The Childrens Learning place in Chicago, downtown near Navy Pier. I also worked with all ages in the daycare up to ages 5.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities i enjoy Indoors include scavenger hunt with toys, hide and seek, board games, Peekaboo, Marco Polo, card games, bowling using toys, Tea party, making paper planes, the floor is lava, making a fort and obstacle course. Outside I enjoy freeze dance, I Spy, bubbles, charades , telling stories, ring toss, drawing with chalk, hopscotch and scavenger hunt.
