For hands on creativity and sensory development, activities like playing with playdough, finger painting, or scooping through a sensory bin filled with dry pasta or oats keep them focused and build fine motor control. When it is time to calm down, transitioning to interactive storybooks, building block towers, or sorting objects by color gives them a chance to rest while still developing early math and literacy skills.

I feel that the most important thing about being a nanny is building a safe, trusting environment where children feel secure and parents have total peace of mind. When kids feel safe and supported, they have the confidence to learn, grow, and push their boundaries. At the same time, it is about being a reliable partner for the parents. Keeping open communication and following through on the family's rules and routines ensures that everyone is on the same page, making the household run smoothly.

My favorite nanny moments always come down to the genuine connections and breakthroughs. I love that feeling when a child finally masters a skill we’ve been practicing for weeks, or when they say something hilariously unexpected that catches me completely off guard.
