Hello!
I am Jaz and hope to be the perfect fit for your energetic little one! I am very passionate about the care and development of little ones! I have 3 years of experience in early childhood education where I worked in a preschool which consisted of teaching, meal prepping, creating lesson plans, and of course play time! I currently care for furbabies.
In college (Majoring in Psychology) I took teaching classes as well and have baby sat for a couple families when needed. It is a passion of mine to help!
I used to volunteer for work with a special needs program where we hosted activities for motor skills.
I also speak Spanish as well and love to integrate that when speaking to kids so they can add it to their vocabulary.
Kids are sponges and the people of our future! it is very important to me to ensure they receive the love, care, teaching and fun they need! I hope to meet you and your family (as well as furbabies!) and create a lasting experience of genuine care!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I used to be in a ECE program where I learned about child development and also worked in a program alongside.
I have baby sat for a couple families.
I raised younger siblings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to do arts and crafts! I love seeing the joy and creativity emerge from children when indulging in art!
Theatrical play is one of my favorites! it is fun to see an actor in the making and how their imagination works!
I do not like to use screen time as a form of fun or entertainment. I really enjoy playing with toys and creating nothing out of something! creativity is so important!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a safe caring motivating space for the child and the family. Children are our future! it is important they are surrounded with love and care going out into the world one day. It is so important to me we nurture our little ones.

My experience with special needs children...

I used to volunteer for a special needs program called "IENGAGE" in my church. We would host this class for a couple hours one night a week. Sensory rooms were created for safe spaces and explorations for the kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing a little one I used to care for start to use Spanish in her everyday language! seeing her grow was such an amazing feeling! how smart she is!
Teaching and guiding is one of my favorite things especially when having a conversation with her. It's an amazing thing to see how imaginative her mind was.
