More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

As someone who enjoys spending time with children, I have found that engaging them in creative and stimulating activities can be incredibly rewarding. Some of my personal favorites include painting, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities like exploring nature, and playing sports.
In addition to these specific activities, I also believe in fostering a sense of curiosity and exploration in children. By encouraging them to ask questions, try new things, and think creatively, I feel that we can help them develop into confident, independent individuals who are excited about learning and discovering the world around them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building strong and meaningful relationships with the children and families in your care. As a nanny, you have the opportunity to make a profound impact on a child's life, helping them learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment. This requires patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children. Additionally, effective communication, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to different family dynamics are all essential skills for a successful nanny. Being committed to providing the highest level of care and support possible, and always putting the best interests of the child first.

My experience with special needs children...

Working with children with autism requires a unique set of skills and knowledge, as each child's needs and abilities are different. As someone who has worked with multiple autistic children , I understand the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment for these children to thrive in. I understand to effectively work with autistic children, it is crucial to learn about their individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as their communication and socialization challenges. I believe in using a multidisciplinary approach that involves working closely with families. In my experience, some effective techniques for working with autistic children include using visual aids, structured routines, and positive reinforcement strategies. It is also important to provide consistent support and guidance, while also allowing for flexibility and creativity in how we approach each child's unique challenges and strengths.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was teaching a child their colors and watching them learn to walk at the same time. It was such a magical experience seeing the joy on their face as they took their first steps and started to explore the world around them.As we worked on learning colors, we used fun games and activities, like sorting toys by color or pointing to objects and naming their colors. It was amazing to see how quickly the child picked up on the different hues and shades, and soon they were able to confidently identify all the colors of the rainbow.Throughout this process, I also focused on helping the child with their balance and coordination to aid in their walking development. We practiced holding onto furniture, taking small steps, and gradually building up their confidence and strength.Seeing the child's progress in both areas was incredibly rewarding, and it was a privilege to be a part of their journey as they learned and grew.
