A little bit about me

I am a recent college graduate from the University of Kansas with a degree in psychology. I am 22 years old and just moved to Dallas in July. I love the Dallas area so far and am currently working in recruiting, but I am looking for a job that suits me better. I have been nannying since I was 14 and started full time nannying every summer once I could drive in 2016. Since then I have nannied kids from the ages of 4 months- 12 years old. I worked with a baby boy from the age of 4 months until he was two. I loved watching him grow up and getting to know the family well. I have experience in not only psychology but child development as well. Along with that I worked at a family practice office and took care of kids of all ages!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat kids for 6+ years from newborns to 12 year old's. I worked as a medical assistant with pediatrics and also have a psychology major with childhood development training. I also grew up teaching dance and would teach classes of around 30 kindergarteners multiple times a week.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Creative new games, dancing, going on walks, going to the park, fun activities around town, seasonal activities, etc.. (this also all depends on age as well! )

My experience with special needs children...

In high school I worked in IPS (inter personal skills) with special needs kids. I had a class with them every day that I got to learn with them and create relationships. In college I was also apart of natural ties which was an organization with special needs individuals. I created relationships with them and brought them to various social activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I nannied a baby boy starting at around 4 months. I stayed with him for many months and watched him learn and discover new things. I saw him stand up with out holding on to anything for the first time and I had never been so happy!
