More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mom owns her own preschool the past 30 years and so growing up I was around all ages of children and when I was 16, I started working for her. When I was younger, I always babysat other kids. As an adult I was with my last nanny family for 2 years and I adored the kids, it hurts my heart to leave them as I grew a very special connection.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
With my prior nanny kids I would take them anywhere, Reading museum, parks, Berks nature center, jump factories, libraries, playtimes with other kids for socialization, bowling, skating, anything to keep the kids active. I also was able to take them out and go grocery shopping and I used that as teachable moments with money, social skills, and just learning to interact with others.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for a couple of special need children over the years, mostly children with autism. However, I am open to anything as I see it as they still have their abilities and are loveable just like any other child.
