A little bit about me

I recently moved to Grants Pass OR with my significant other who is from here. I grew up with 5 biological siblings and we adopted one of my sisters 5 years ago. I am the second oldest. My family has fosters children all throughout the time that I lived at home. I have a lot of experience with kids ranging from infants to teenagers. I am willing to work with and learn anyone’s parenting style. I respect the ways any parent chooses to parent and would never try to go against that. I absolutely adore kids. My dream since I was a child was to be a stay at home mom. I have a schedule shown, those are all the hours I am available but they are not my set schedule. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at my church’s nursery. The children ranged anywhere from infants to 6 year olds. My first job was babysitting a little girl. I would babysit children from the families in my town and did that throughout 8th grade to the end of high school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy anything from drawing, reading, games, action figures, Barbie’s, “house”, and spending time outdoors. Basically any child activity there is I enjoy doing with children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that forming a relationship with the children you are looking after is very important. It is also important to me to learn how the parents of the child choose to raise the children and to follow that example exactly when nannying for them.

My experience with special needs children...

My sister suffers from FASD. Working with her has truly made me learn. I have also babysat other special needs children. Never have I ever treated them any differently than a regular child. All children deserve love and respect.
