This happened to me at the school I work for. I remember being with the toddlers during their nap time and having one of my kids wake up screaming assuming it was from a nightmare I picked him up and held him in my arms until he was no longer afraid and this was my first time meeting him because it was his first day, to me that was just something I believed anyone would do but of course him only being two didn’t see it that way and to this day whenever he sees me he runs up to me to hug me and I’ll always remember that.
