The most important part about being a nanny...

To be a part of a child’s formative years is a huge responsibility and one I take seriously. Outside of safety, the most important thing to me is helping kids grow in to creative, kind and compassionate human beings.

My brother is high functioning autistic, so I know the condition very well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love it when kids say unexpected things, especially when it’s sweet. One time, the four-year-old girl that I had been nannying for a few months was visiting a farm with me, and she turned around from feeding an alpaca, sighed happily, and announced “I love you!” to me for the first time.
I could have melted.
