I am blessed to bring 8 years of professional childcare experience, including working as a preschool teacher. I have had the joy of caring for children across a wide range of developmental stages, from active 2-year-olds up to curious 11-year-olds as a fifth grade teaching assistant. Because of my background, I excel at structuring days that are both organized and incredibly fun.

I focus on building a warm, encouraging environment where kids feel safe, understood, and inspired to learn. I have my associates degree from Santa Fe College where I graduated in elementary education, where I gained experience with middle schoolers as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love bringing a bag of tricks filled with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, crayons, stickers, and coloring sheets to keep things fun and active! Because I'm a painter in my free time, getting to teach a child how to paint or create something with their hands is one of my absolute favorite things. There is nothing like watching their confidence grow when they make a craft they are truly proud of. I also love bringing a picnic blanket for outdoor reading, practicing writing, and diving into any creative project that gets their imagination flowing!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is fostering a child's confidence, curiosity, and emotional growth in a structured, nurturing environment. Drawing from my background in early childhood education, I love designing intentional and creative learning experiences, whether we are building fine motor skills through painting, exploring nature to spark scientific curiosity, or developing language skills over a shared story. My goal is to partner with parents to provide seamless, high quality care that supports each child's unique developmental milestones and helps them thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my former students and I were making a simple lunch together, and she was picking out Disney songs for us to listen to while we prepped sandwiches and fruit salad. I stepped away to use the bathroom for a second, and when I came back, she surprised me with a handmade friendship bracelet she had made for me before I even came over! I was so incredibly touched. It ended up sparking a whole night of us listening to Disney music (especially the Encanto soundtrack, which we were obsessed with since it had just come out!) and teaching her how to make all kinds of cool, crafty bracelet patterns. I love moments like that where a simple gesture turns into a memory they are so proud of.
