A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently a college student studying psychology with a focus on child development. I have been working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) for over a year now at a nursing home, where I directly care for residents by assisting with their daily tasks, which includes: feeding, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, etc.

I also am involved in a number of extracurriculars. I am a reading tutor for the nonprofit, Reading Partners, where I deliver an individualized lesson plan to elementary students who are struggling with reading. Additionally, I am also serving as an AmeriCorps member for the Jumpstart program where I will work with preschoolers in reading and activities to enrich their oral language and social-emotional skills development and prepare them for kindergarten. Lastly, I am a tutor for RBHS’s WA-BLOC Homework Center and support students in academics (biology, geometry, algebra, language arts, and history).
