Hi, I’m Jessica! I’m a 21-year-old recent graduate, with a B.S. in Health Science from California State University, Long Beach. I’m passionate about working with children and pride myself on being dependable, nurturing, and patient. I recently moved back home to Rocklin, CA, and my goal is to continue my education and pursue a career as a Physician Assistant.

I have hands-on experience working with children as both a nanny and a Registered Behavior Technician. I’ve supported kids through various developmental stages, including potty training, feeding, and outdoor play. I especially enjoy helping children learn, grow, and explore. During my time in college, I was a nanny for a family in Long Beach and loved it, I had a strong relationship and bond with them. Having to leave was hard, but hoping to find a new family with a similar connection.

I’m active and enjoy hiking and skiing in my free time. My current schedule is flexible, and I’m available to work up to 25 hours per week.

I have worked with a variety of kids on the spectrum as a behavior technician, most of my experience is with younger non-verbal kids. But I also have worked with older kids in school and in homes. I really enjoyed helping kids expand their vocabulary, teach how to use communication skills effectively and training kids in fine and gross motor skills

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing them grow up and enjoying each little moment, such as with my last family I had been watching her since she could crawl and seeing her walk, start to speak (saying words other than her own name) and even started saying my name correctly were the best moments and why I love being a nanny.
