A little bit about us
We're a warm, easygoing family in Rocklin, my wife and I and our three kids, ages 9, 6, and 3. Our house is busy and full of energy: homework, playtime, and the occasional Lego explosion.
We're looking for someone who can help keep our home running smoothly and be a caring, engaged presence for our kids when they're back from school.
We need help on Wednesdays and Fridays, 9AM to 5PM (8 hours), with flexibility on exact timing. There's also an option to add Thursdays if that works well for both of us. The day includes a paid 30-minute break and an unpaid 30-minute break, whenever makes sense in the flow of the day.
Mornings are focused on housekeeping: general cleaning, kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming. All cleaning supplies are provided, just let us know if anything runs low and we'll restock.
Afternoons shift to childcare once the kids are home: homework support, and hands-on help getting our 3-year-old ready and engaged.
We don't expect meal prep, but being willing to warm up food in the microwave or make something simple like mac & cheese would be great. Occasional driving for kid pickups/drop-offs at activities or a grocery run is a nice-to-have, not required. We have a friendly dog, but no pet care needed there.
Fluent English is a must.
You're welcome to unlimited coffee from our DeLonghi machine and any of our tea whenever you'd like!
