Hi I’m Jessica stevens, I’m turning 22 in March. I love kids, I’m not at a place where I want my own just yet but I love being around their playful souls. I was a personal health care attendant for a little guy with Down syndrome for 2 years. Not only did I watch him and occasionally his sister as well. But I would pre teach him information for school and coordinate with his teachers. I read books to understand the disorder and better communicate with him in a way he would feel at ease. Then when Covid really set in I became a full time teacher. With 3 weekly meetings set up to discuss his lesson plans with his teachers, and we set up a daily schedule to keep in him in a routine and on track.
