A little bit about me

I have decided to leave my career in education to stay home with my two kids. I have been a special education teacher for 8 years with the last 4 years in leadership which included managing my special Ed department. I have worked closely with SLPs, OTs, and mental health providers which has provided me with knowledge and tools when working with children. I have experience in child development, social emotional learning, and academic achievement.
As a parent of a 3-year-old daughter and 1 year old, I practice gentle/conscious parenting. I incorporate Montessori and developmental appropriate play into our day. I am looking to watch 1 other child in my home, along with my own. The benefits of this would be dedicated and 1:1 attention to you child and individualized schedule, along with social play.
We have 2 very friendly dogs that stay in the basement while children are here.
