Hi! My name is Jiselle, I'm a 16 year old sophomore looking for a part-time job to help me save up for college. I love working with children from a variety of ages; I'm usually the go-to person my family chooses to babysit. With that being said I have lots of experience and can tend to every one of your child's needs. I am super friendly and energetic: I would be more than happy to meal prep, clean up, and do fun learning activities with any of your children. I am currently enrolled in an allied health class at my school and I recently got my CPR certification. In addition, we are learning about child development and safety procedures to ensure I can tend to anyone in case of emergency. More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to the park or fun places like the shed aquarium! I also enjoy teaching kids self love and kindness. Such as playing with cards and repeating the affirmations; I am beautiful, I am smart, I am loved etc. I have done this with all the children I take care of and it is an amazing activity that builds a great foundation of self love at a young age. In addition, I love making fun scavenger hunts for the kids: I leave questions around the house and once you get the answer right you find the next question. After you have answered all the questions correctly the kids find their prize! This way the children are able to learn and play at the same time! I have many more fun activities to do with children but I usually like to meet them first and then plan accordingly.

The most important part about being a nanny is ensuring that the children are safe, fed, comfortable, and meet all their developmental milestones.

My experience with special needs children...

To be honest I do not have much experience with special needs children. But when school was in-person last year, I was in this program at my school where you can work with special needs kids. I decided to join because I wanted to do something good with my free time, and I love being around people that are different from me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I was watching my 1 y/o nephew and he took his first steps! It's so amazing watching a child go from a tiny human that couldn't even hold up his head on his own , to a little boy that walks and talks. Stuff like this makes me love my job 10x more!
