A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Joanie. I have 21 years of experience with children. My longest position was for 10 years. It was from 2013 to 2023. I started with them when the girl was 8 and the boy was 5. I picked them up from school, or camp in the summer, took them home until their mom or dad would come home. I helped them with their homework, gave them snacks, played with them, took them to activities, made sure they were safe. After about a year or so they had two small dogs, I took care of them, and still do. I stayed with these children till they were 18 and 15 years old. There is a lot more for me to say, and other positions I've had. I have a resume, letters of recommendation, etc. I would bring these documents with me to an interview. My last position was with a 4 year old girl and 9 year old boy that ended because the mom was going to work only from home. Before that, a 4 year old girl. My services were no longer needed from the summer on. I have a letter from this family too.

Regarding indoor activities - I like to play various board games with them, work with building blocks, color, draw, crafts and puzzles, etc. Regarding outdoor activities - taking them fo playground activities, playing ball, frisbee, writing with chalk and blowing bubbles.
