Full-Time Nanny Available in Needham, MA: Alyssa R.
Hi, My name is Alyssa Ram and I love reading, exercise, playing piano, and sewing. I have worked with children for 10+ years and have lots of experience working with children with special needs. I am a firm believer in collaborative problem solving. From my work with children with autism I have found that talking to the children instead of assuming what is upsetting them is the best way to gain their trust and have them behave well. I have found that specifically asking what the child needs/wants from me in that moment and then explaining what it is that I need from them allows us to brainstorm solutions to solve the problem. This makes the child feel like they are really part of the decision process and they are often much more agreeable.
