The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing is to make sure they are safe but are also having fun. I don’t ever want to ruin a kids day but I also don’t anyone to get hurt. Being safe trumps having stupid fun.
My experience with special needs children...
My mother is a special Ed teacher so I have worked and been around them my whole life. And my cousin is also special needs so I have experience with him as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I was babysitting this little girl one night and she accidentally let the dog out in the back. The dog ran away and she started crying. She felt so bad and thought she would never see the dog again and thought her parents were gonna be mad at her. So I told her we were gonna go on an adventure and find the dog. So we shut the back door and locked it and went to go find the dog. And when we finally found him, he ran up to her and started going around her in circles. When we got back to her house she told me she wanted to let the dog out again so we could keep going on adventures, lol.
