Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have done volunteer work in Montclair State University with children at their daycare. I have also worked at TLC daycare taking care of children through the ages of newborn till 6 years old, I also provided transportation from school to the daycare and stayed helping them do homework and activities.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spending quality time with the children, I try to find activities that do not include phones or tablets to have 1 on 1 time with each other, I am also very active so if a child is interested in a sport, I will take that into consideration and run a few plays with them. During the summer time, I Like to go to the park and catch a breath of fresh air.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is knowing that your time and attention goes towards the child. Some parents are not able to be there at all times so we have to take into consideration that it is an important role the we are playing in the development of their children. We will begin to see a lot of ourselves, the way we act, the way we talk in the children so we always have to bring our A game at all times and make sure the child is getting all the time and attention they need. We also have to be in constant reminder that we are here to help the parents in all they need, we are here to be their relief and to make sure that every time they leave their children with us they know they are in good hands!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have had a lot of favorite moments with the children I work but my favorite memories include seeing them take first steps, their first words and seeing them develop a love and affection towards myself. I also enjoy seeing children start speaking Spanish, Many parents I have worked with love that I start teaching them how to speak Spanish so seeing them respond and understand is something I am very proud of.
