A little bit about me

Hello! I am a 22 years old full time as an assistant manager for Dutch Bros Coffee. I love my job since it requires me to be social and talk to people past the general “ordering”. I’m very sociable and can talk anyone’s ear off! In my free time I love to clean and organize. Living in a home with children means endless organizing! I also love to take my nieces on little girls dates. Taking them out for ice cream, boba, or maybe just to target to get a little toy for them. I do try and live a pretty active and healthy lifestyle! I have a 1.5 year old rottweiler of my own but live in a home with 5 dogs so pets are no problem! I am not looking for something full time as my current job is my career. However, i am looking for something to not only make extra income, but to fill my days. I’d like something else to keep me busy!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I only have a few months of hired on nanny experience with people outside of my family. However, I have 8 nieces and nephews that I have cared for and watched after since birth. Currently, the youngest is 3 year old and the oldest is 8 and I continue to take care of them when needed. This wouldn’t get in the way of my care for your child :) I grew up in a home with many siblings and despite being the second youngest, I have always been around children due to my older siblings growing families of their own. I currently am not CPR Certified, but I will do so if you would like me to be. I love children. I work a full time job that requires me to be pretty social, and when children come through they are my favorite to talk too. On top of caring of my nieces and nephews, in my youth group for church I would watch children for the adults when they had activities. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything hands on with children. I understand they can be a lot and it’s easier to put on a Disney movie and call it a day. And yes that is also something I like doing with them, I prefer to help them with things like coloring or school projects if they have any!

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters to me is someone who understands how important it is to be gentle with children. They have so smart but they are so new to the world, so it is important to be patient with them. Especially when they do something like make a mess, they don’t do it with bad intentions. They’re just curious! And they need to explore things they are curious about (in a safe way of course) to learn:)
