I worked at an elementary school as an after school teacher while also being a full-time nanny for 3 kids (ages 1,4,7). I was also a camp counselor at a resort ages 0-13. Worked for 5 other families as a nanny since the age of 15.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love anything that brings out my artistic skills: coloring, painting, legos, etc. I also enjoy reading and writing. Going on walks or anything outdoors is where I feel most at home!
My experience with special needs children...
I lived with my cousin (age 5) in 2022 who has autism. I cared for him and took him to Kumon. While living there I also worked as a teacher at an elementary school where we would have special needs children. In high school I took an all inclusive yoga class which allowed me to have special needs teenagers work with me in their yoga positions.
