I worked with children with different disabilities when working in childcare for 4 years. I also spent a year working specifically in Special Education at an elementary school, working mainly with autistic children. I am very comfortable with kids of varying abilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the kids I nanny is a little girl. When she loses a tooth, she always waits to put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy so that she can show it to me first. Having a kid love you enough to postpone the tooth fairy is one of the highest honors one can receive.
