More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered multiple times during my school years to care for younger children. This usually consisted of early morning sessions with kindergarteners and videos to help them get some energy out. At the end of the day we would walk the children to their assigned bus lines so no one got lost while trying to get home.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I have a strong passion for art and music and I adore to play games. I love going on walks as well or playing in the yard! Basically anything fun indoors and out!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important part about being a nanny is the connections you get to build with the families as a whole. It's a big decision to bring someone into your child's life and even if it feels as insignificant as a nanny. Trust and honesty is one of the most important things about nannying because someone is quite literally trusting you with their child. I believe that as a nanny, I should provide adequate care and compassion for the child, as well as the whole family!

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have any paid experience with special needs children though I have a younger cousin who was diagnosed on the spectrum. I helped take care of him for a couple of years on and off. I don't consider this great experience and I do understand how important it is for special needs children to get their needs met and I would do everything in my power to meet those.
