I enjoy planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support each child’s growth and curiosity. For infants, I focus on tummy time, music, and sensory play to encourage motor and sensory development. With toddlers, I love using story time, dancing, water play, and building blocks to support language and coordination. For preschoolers, I create hands-on activities like arts and crafts, nature walks, early science experiments, and imaginative play to promote creativity and critical thinking. With school-aged children, I incorporate homework support, board games, STEM projects, outdoor games, and creative writing or reading challenges to strengthen academic and social skills. Each activity is tailored to the child’s age, interests, and developmental stage.

The most important part about being a nanny is providing each child with the same level of care, love, and patience I would want for my own child. I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where every child feels valued, supported, and free to be themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with a variety of disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorder, physical disabilities, developmental delays, and emotional or behavioral disorders. I tailor my care to meet each child’s unique needs, using strategies such as visual supports, social stories, assistive technology, structured routines, and positive behavior reinforcement. My focus is always on creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was driving with a toddler who loved to sing. We’d turn on their favorite songs, and they’d belt out every word (sometimes in their own version of the lyrics!), and I’d sing along too. It turned even the shortest car rides into our own little concerts, full of giggles, off-key notes, and so much joy.
