I taught todd’s, pre-k, and was lead teacher for the twos class for about two years at a Christian school. I also nannied for two wonderful families taking care of their newborns for about 6 months!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love making science projects with kids getting them to explore their senses. As well as incorporating learning such as writing, reading , and math into games so the magic always stays alive. I think it’s always fun to let kids explore their creativity scavenger hunts are always fun. I also adored teaching sign language I think it’s a great life skill to learn early!
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had several special needs kids in my class, it’s amazing to see the way the learn and grow when the right care is put in place. I also nannied for a sweet two year old who was on the spectrum we had so much fun and began being verbal while in my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was going to the park and going on a scavenger hunt for acorns. We played I Spy and played with bubbles of course ! We learned all about rain, the trees, bugs and his favorite rocks!
