One of the most memorable moments I’ve had with a child was when I found out my nephew could recite his colors aloud. One day I was in the beauty supply store looking for braiding hair and couldn’t help but to notice a tiny voice coming from behind me making little chants. As I turned to acknowledge what was happening behind me, I was shocked to see a 1 year old Preston pointing out different packs of hair, correctly naming the color of each pack of hair. This day showed me how beautifully independent and intelligent little babies minds’ truly are and why they deserve very attentive role models who lead by example.
