A little bit about me

Hi! My name is K'Marii. I'm originally from California. I don't have paid experience with children, however I was a mentor while I was in high school. I also have little nieces and nephews I have cared for. I did JROTC, Civil Air Patrol, and I attended the United states air Force Academy for 2 years, 3 if you include my prep school year. I enjoy taking care of kids and providing mentorship and learning for them as well. I have not taken care of Special Needs children before but I am willing to learn. Not currently first aid certified but it is something I can get if need be. I do have triage training and I know how to treat injuries. I hope to here from you soon!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat for my nieces and nephews, as well as, helped my friend's babysit their own siblings. I have also acted as a mentor in my middle school and in my JROTC program in high school, as well as, the way of life club at USAFA.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read and draw with kids. Listen and dance to music. Go to the park. I also love to bake with kids who can. I think arts and craft projects are a lot of fun to do as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Caring for the children. I'm not the type to sit them in front of the TV but rather have meaningful interactions with them and learn to understand them so I can best help the child I am caring for. I do prefer doing actives and for them to learn new things because that helps them the most. not to say some shows can't but interactions are what fill me with joy and I feel has the most impact on them as well.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have any experience caring for special needs children, however, I did go to school with a few, and had pretty good experiences with them. Obviously a few interactions is not the same as caring for one, but I am willing to learn how to best help them.
