Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a CNA for nursing homes and hospital's so is my mom so I have quite a bit of experience with kids/Teens I even worked with special need kids as well. plus I use to babysit my cousins all the time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like art's and crafts, adventuring, dress up, sports playing tag or whatever activities the kids are into. I like to accommodate what the children need and want but put my foot down as well, if a tantrum happens go about it easily and tell the child what they did wrong and what they can do and not do, but most of all I just like having fun and enjoy being around children and hopefully me and my husband will have some of are own.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Responsibility, respect, learning new things about people getting to know the family and what there like how they raise their kids so I can follow the right rules and step's to make sure I'm not stepping on boundaries or anything. I love being able to give children the comfort and joy they need and always deserve families can get busy and that's where nanny's or babysitter's come in to help the family out on what they need for their children and then selves.
My experience with special needs children...
I've cared for kids with IEP's or any learning disabilities, I've helped kids go through chemo treatments and more,but I'll never forget one little girl who was born with cerebral palsy which left her handy caped for life I was her care giver till she passed away a year ago but that's what drives me every kid deserves to be equal and treated the same.
