I was once babysitting a 5 year old boy, who is the son of a family friend, and he was asking if I was in a relationship. After I said no, I asked him the same question and he said, “no nobody likes me” :(. It was the cutest yet saddest little thing ever, and I said, “you know that I like you right?”, and he said, “yeah I know, you are my firmed and I love you”. He hugged me really tight and that made my whole week. It’s moments like these that make me live children the way I do.
