I am currently looking for a part-time nannying position. In that role, I provided daily care, prepared meals, tutored, managed transportation to and from activities, and built a strong relationship with the family. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have three years of experience working as a nanny for a single mother and her two children, where I provided daily care, cooked meals, tutored, attended school events and practices, and built a strong personal relationship with the family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything outdoors! Also arts & crafts, reading together, board games, etc!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family. It’s crucial to create a safe, nurturing environment where the child feels supported and cared for, whether it’s through daily routines, emotional support, or simply being present for their milestones. Consistent communication with the family is also key to ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding the child's needs and any expectations. Above all, being reliable, patient, and understanding helps foster a positive and lasting impact on the child’s development.

My experience with special needs children...

In high school, I was a board member for our Best Buddies club where I worked closely with special needs children and planned events. I am also a current member of the Best Buddies club at Clemson.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was attending Ollie's soccer games and being his biggest fan. I loved cheering him on from the sidelines, watching him improve with each game, and celebrating his successes, no matter how big or small. It was rewarding to see his confidence grow as he realized how much support he had, both from me and his family.

Hello! I moved to Charleston from NYC with my boyfriend a year and a half ago and currently live on James Island. I have served as a childcare provider in and off since for over 15 years. I currently work in a corporate 9-5 capacity; however, I am passionate about supporting children and families and wanted to pick up occasional shifts that allow me to continue to pursue this passion in addition to my regular role. I am available on weekends and weeknight evenings. I am highly creative and love to come up with new activities to keep children engaged, learning, and having fun. I bring a relentlessly positive approach. Please reach out with your needs and let's chat - I look forward to working with you!
