Hello, my name is Kalie Rice. I’m 24 years old and a proud mom to a soon-to-be 2-year-old and a newborn arriving in August. I’m a 2019 graduate of DeKalb High School and have been passionate about working with children for as long as I can remember. I began babysitting at the age of 12 for both family and neighbors, and that early experience sparked my lifelong interest in childcare. I went on to work at the YMCA Learning Center for 4 years, gaining hands-on experience with children of various ages and developmental stages. In 2022, after purchasing my first home, I was able to fulfill a dream of opening my own in-home childcare program. I have experience caring for children including those with special needs. I’m committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
