More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am the oldest of 6 kids, my parents were in school when I was about 10 years old until I was about 15. That is where my experience started. I also am the oldest of 35 cousins and babysat a lot. I have spent weeks at a time with my nieces and nephew while their parents are out of the country. When I graduated high school I got a job as a professional nanny and spent a year with the cutest little kids taking them to preschool and museums and everything else in their day. I made their lunch, kept the house clean, and played with them. After being a nanny I got a job in a hospital as a nursing assistant. I did that for 7 years until I moved to Florida, and because of that I am CPR and first aid certified through the american heart association.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going to museums and parks. I love reading with kids and playing games. I love seeing the world through kids eyes.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is to care about the kids. Truly be able to know what their needs are and meet them. To not be distracted but focused on the kids and how you can help them the most.
