Hello all! My name is Kamri. I have worked in childcare for 7 years and love what I do. I babies long term for 15 months, but left due to moving to Florida. I have been working at military installations that provide childcare. However I truly miss having 1 on 1 interactions, so I am looking to nanny for a local family. I am a college student majoring in psychological science and will be graduating in May. I have worked with a wide range of children including those on the spectrum to those with disability. I like hands on activities, arts and crafts, play dough, going to the park, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a positive impact and letting kids know that their feelings are valid. I always make the effort to ask how they’re doing, even though they’re young they have thoughts and feelings just like we do. Kids at age 4-6 are slowly learning their emotions and feelings which is why tantrums are more likely to occur, fun fact!

My experience with special needs children...

I was a peer-facilitator my last year of High School, and I loved it! I worked with a numerous amount of kids with different needs and it came very easily to me as I knew what I was doing to help care for them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I enjoy being apart of big milestones like taking or walking/ crawling.
