I was nannying 3 kiddos and as I was going home, the oldest goes “can you come play tomorrow?” which made me realize that they don’t know I was there to get paid. I was responsible for overseeing the safety and well being of 10-20 children daily, ages vary from infants to elementary students. I closely monitored children's activities, prepared meals, maintained a safe and sanitary environment, ensuring that the business was in compliance with all Federal and local daycare laws. I provided preschool activities to help children learn and prepare for elementary school. I also monitored headcount, so the daycare had appropriate coverage for the amount of children signed in for the day. This was a critical task needed to make sure that the daycare was able to accommodate as many children as possible, and stay in compliance.
