I have also worked more directly with kids at Mathnasium where I was a math tutor for middle and elementary school-aged children. In my opinion, almost nothing is as difficult as trying to get tired middle schoolers to do math after the school day has ended, but it gave me important and necessary childcare skills. I know how to get kids to listen to me, even if they're being difficult or having a rough day, and I also have practice with helping multiple kids at once. Overall, I love working with children, and I would be an excellent nanny!
