More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have care for the last 4 years for 2 kiddos. I started when the younger one was just over 1 and the older was 51/2. Their mom was a traveling nurse so my duties would vary. We love to go to zoos, parks, swim and anything else I can figured to do outside. We did crafts and always did pretend play whether is was Barbie’s or dinosaurs! They are in school full time now and mom is no longer traveling so my help is no longer needed (I miss those kiddos like crazy) but I still keep in touch with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts, pretend play and going to the zoo, parks, picnics and anything else I can think of that’s fun
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have a few things I think are important, I am a mom of 4 boys and when my oldest was 8 & my youngest was 4 I found myself a single mom. I had a fantastic lady that took care of my boys like they were her own but she became an extension of me. I would want to make the parents lives easier and a smooth transition from nanny to mom or dad. And of course the kiddos are happy, safe, loved and well taken care of.
My experience with special needs children...
I honestly do not have any but willing to learn your way of doing things. I have a lot of patience and love to give.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Gosh so many…the little boy I took care of was a late talker and walker (Covid baby) and very clinging to mom so the first time I walked in and he came to me and hugged me just melted my heart. And it took several months for that to happen but now we are best buds !!
