I really enjoy doing creative and active things with kids! Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, playing outside, going on nature walks, reading books together, building with blocks or Legos, and doing fun educational games. I also love making up silly stories, playing imagination games, and helping with simple baking or cooking activities when appropriate. I try to choose activities that keep them engaged, support learning, and most of all—make them feel safe and happy!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a safe, trusting, and supportive relationship with the children and their family. Kids need to feel loved, understood, and secure in order to grow and thrive, and I believe it’s my job to help create that kind of environment. It’s not just about supervision—it’s about being a positive role model, showing patience and empathy, and helping them learn through everyday moments.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children who have special needs through both childcare settings and personal interactions. I’ve helped support children with developmental delays, sensory sensitivities, and behavioral challenges by being patient, attentive, and adaptable to their individual needs. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and encouraging environment where every child feels understood and included. I’m always open to learning more and working closely with families to follow routines, strategies, or therapies that best support the child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I had been working with for a few weeks surprised me by remembering a little song we had made up together about getting ready in the morning. She started singing it on her own while brushing her teeth, and it made both of us laugh. It was a small moment, but it showed how much she trusted me and how our routines were turning into fun memories. It reminded me how meaningful the little things can be in a child’s day.
