A little bit about me

I'm a happy loving person, very easy going and here to help you the best way possible.
I have worked professionally with babies for 8 years. The past year I had a baby boy come full time to my home, but they are now moving out of state.

* Starting in January 2025, I will open my home again for 1-2 little ones.

* I have availability to accommodate longer stays as well.
( I have one baby girl that comes to stay with us 3-4 times a year for about a week at the time. )

I have a in home day care set up, I'm only looking to have 1-2 little ones at the time to keep it small and being able to fokus all my attention on the babies.

I'm m a stay at home mom to a 2 year old and expecting a baby in middle of October.
We love to be outdoors, take walks and play. We always play on the floor/ground with Lovevery toys.
I'm using a Montessori lead way in the upbringing of my daughter. We also do simple sign language for easier communication between us.

I have worked as a Au-pair for a total of 5 years. . (Au pair years [phone number hidden])
In 2016 I took two years "off" from childcare to start caring for a quadriplegic young man for a while, and then I went back caring for children.
April [phone number hidden] I have stayed home with my daughter and for the past year I had a little boy come full time during the week.
I been caring for four girls and I boy total, ages 2 months - 4 years old and 7- 14 years old. I love caring for the younger ones, because it feels like I'm doing more to help out.
This doesn't even include me babysitting my siblings and cousins from when I was 8 years old. I'm the oldest of three girls and growing up I had about 18 cousins

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Play on the floor with the little once, preferably with learning toys. I love singing songs, reading books and take them on walks outside. with the older kids I enjoy, drawing/coloring, arts and crafts, playgrounds, nature walks etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that the relationship between me as a nanny and the child is the most important, cause we are the ones spending all the time together. It is of course very important that the relationship between you and I works as smoothly as possible as well. I'm here to make sure that you have nothing to worry about when you leave your child in my care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I used to sing a lullaby in Swedish to my host kid when putting her down for a nap or night. One day after I left them, I came back to visit them and the first thing she wanted was for me to sing her the special song. She crawled up in my lap, leaned her head on my and waited for me to sing.
Another great memory was to see my host child figuring something out, and the look at her face when she told me what she did was amazing, she was so proud of herself and even do I had watched her do it she had to tell me.
