I have worked with children in an educational capacity for the past 10 years. I have served as everything from a full time teacher, to babysitter, to camp counselor. I pride myself on my ability to connect with children and create fun and educational experiences that focus on development, growth, fun, and imagination. I served as a nanny to my Peace Corps host family with 5 children for 2 years and am extremely confident in my ability to interact and work with children of all ages.

I love reading, crafting, dancing, singing, board games, playing pretend, building things, going outside, walks, hikes, swimming, sports, and pretty much anything that involves getting active and using my imagination. I consider myself a true kid at heart and I'm ready for all kinds of fun and games (with an educational twist, of course).

Getting to work and interact with children is important to me because I really believe that childhood is extremely formative in who we become as adults. My most memorable moment from caring for my host sister during my time in Peace Corps is pretty simple: I loved when she (4 years old) would lay in the hammock with with me and we would take turns telling wild made-up stories and being creative.
