A little bit about me

I am a qualified and experienced childcare practitioner with a great passion for working with children. From a young age I babysat for infants/children from family and friends and knew it was something I wanted to do as a profession. I studied childcare at college gaining comprehensive knowledge of child development/psychology, monitoring/evaluating children, and lesson planning/observation. Over the years I worked in varies childcare settings in Germany and the UK such as Kindergartens, Montessori Nursery, Primary Schools and Homecare Settings. My prior occupational roles include kindergarten teacher, general teaching assistant, 1-1 teaching assistant for children with special/additional educational needs, lunchtime supervisor, after school club lead, registered childminder and au pair; I also have 4 children of my own. I am patient, compassionate and dedicated to providing high quality care in a nurturing and safe environment. I enjoy the outdoors, arts/crafts & speak fluent German.
