Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have gained experience with children of various ages by babysitting, volunteering at summer camps, and helping out in the nursery at my church. I especially enjoy taking care of infants and toddlers. (I also want to note here that I am absolutely willing to get a First Aid/CPR certification if that is something important to you and your family.)
The most important part about being a nanny...
My goal in taking care of children is to make sure that they feel loved, heard, and cared for. All kids are different, so I think it is extremely important to be flexible and willing to adapt to each child's wants and needs.
My experience with special needs children...
I have spent some time volunteering with a 4th grader who has Down Syndrome. She is amazing and just needs a little bit of extra love and attention :)
