Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat kids since I was 13, and I have been a youth leader taking kids on trips, as well as having 5 younger siblings, the youngest being 10 years younger than myself! I have worked as a nanny for 5+ families starting in 2018 all the way through the thick of COVID. I have had kids from 3mo-12 years, so I am comfortable around many age groups! If it would make you more comfortable, I have references I can give you as well from past families I have nannied for!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to play games with any of my kids, take them outside, walks to the park, anything they are excited about and want to do!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being understanding, and patient. Parents leave you in charge of the most important little beings in their life.. these children are their whole world. You have to care for them as if they are your own, with so much love and care, and recognizing that they are so impressionable. They are small humans, with wide eyes and big brains and they need positive behavior exhibited by myself to help them grow, learn, and feel safe and accepted!
