A little bit about me

Hi there! My name is Kaylee and I am 19 years old and just moved here to Bridgewater. I graduated from Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Class of 2021) and love the arts and culture! I was a theater/music major and love to express myself through music.

I have a little brother that I had to care for a long time of my life. I often do camp counseling in the summers at my childhood community theater! (Jeter Backyard Theater) (I’m always the counselor you want! 😉) While growing up with kids all my age, I usually can understand children a way others can’t at times. I think they see that, and appreciate my welcoming personality.

I do not have my drivers license… but I’m working on it. It’s a need in my life, but it shows how much I procrastinate! 😁

I’d love to take care and help with any child, no matter who they are, what they have been through, or how they treat me. Thank you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a counselor at Jeter Backyard Theater. I did multiple camps ages ranging from 6-13. I enjoyed my time here so much! Theater kids are so creative and energetic!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on walks! Bike rides in the summer are the best! There will definitely be a lot of fresh air if you’re with me! There are also times when it’s fun to make things and even watch a cool new movie!

The most important part about being a nanny...

being able to influence the youth to be the best version of themselves, caring so much, even when it’s not your child.

My experience with special needs children...

I was raised for some time with two “brothers” of mine, Stephen and Jeffrey. They both are autistic and were my best friends. This is the only experience I have. They were years older but every-time I visited throughout my life there was always a sense of me being looked up to.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Unfortunately… two summers ago I was thrown up on at camp! 😭 Poor little guy came up to me and went right on my shoes. I sat with him outside and made sure he was alright with some water and we made sure his Mama picked him up. Poor guy :(
