Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am an avid craft maker! I love making edible bracelets (ie. cheerios) finger painting and window markers! I teach gentle parenting, with natural consequences. I’m an avid Disney movie watcher and love helping littles find their interests. We love going to zoos, museums, indoor play areas and much more!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
When you look deeper you'll find that being a nanny is more than caring for children, it's also children caring for you. It's them asking how my day was, asking how my sandwich tastes, checking in to make sure l'm enjoying the movie we watch, asking about my family, my pets, wondering how old I am, wondering where I live. It's children who have no blood relation to you looking at you as if you're family. It's those filled to the brink with tears after they bonk their head on a shelf, asking for a kiss.
Because they know when they're hurt or in pain you'll be there to kiss them and hold them and bandage them up.
When they're bored you'll play with them. If theyre hungry you'll feed them. If they're sad you'll hold them.
And when they're happy you'll laugh with them as if they're your own
