A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Kayleigh, and I recently moved to the area from Charleston, SC. I wanted to introduce myself and share a bit about my background.

Working with children has always been my passion. I began babysitting at age 12, studied Early Childhood Development, and have nearly 15 years of experience in childcare. I’ve worked with infants, kindergarten-age children, and after-school programs for ages 7–10, as well as teaching gymnastics after care programs.

What I love most about being a nanny is being part of a child’s growth and learning—watching them discover something new is truly special to me. I especially enjoy caring for infants. While I don’t have children of my own, nurturing and supporting little ones is something I genuinely love.

I am currently CPR and First Aid certified, including infant training. I feel I could be a great fit for your family and would love the opportunity to meet in person.

My experience with special needs children...

While working in a preschool, i got to work with a few amazingly special children. I have been able to work closely with two children that were on the spectrum, age 4 and 6. They were nonverbal so we learned asl to assist in communication. I was able to get the kids to engage in projects and some school work, not just playing.
